Perth are responsible for providing all volunteers at the Midland Graded Meet on Saturday 4th November. We need marshals, runners to put up result sheets, people to write out ‘Too Fast Certificates,’ presentation assistants and computer assistants. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.

Due to the clash with the Inverness meet, we will have fewer parents than usual. Our merry bunch of STOs have already signed up to help with officiating but we need more help. Please email Justine McGregor if you can help out at either or both sessions on Saturday 4th November.

Food for thought...

September 27, 2017

Here's a useful handout from last season's nutrition talk, kindly delivered by Lisa, dietitian and ex Perth City swimmer. Lots of handy tips and advice on eating well for growth and swim training. With the club champs coming up at the weekend, have a look to find out more on what best to eat when you compete.

Added info is also available on the Scottish Swimming site, Here - scroll down to the Nutritional Advice for Young Swimmers fact sheets.

Your Fundraising Team Need You!!

September 24, 2017

23rd December – M&S bag pack – This is a fabulous opportunity for us to raise a large amount of money for the club but we can only achieve this if we are able to recruit enough helpers. All we ask is for an hour of your time between 10am and 4pm. The last bag pack at Tesco in March raised well over £1000.00, due to the time of year we would hope to exceed this amount. A sign up sheet will go on the board shortly.

13th January 2018 – Our annual Ceilidh at the Salutation Hotel in Perth. This is always a fantastic evening so we hope that as many of you as possible can make it along. We will be holding the usual raffle on the night, any donations for prizes are gratefully received. Further details will follow in November.

Reminder Re Gala Entry Fees

September 18, 2017

The club’s policy is that all fees for accepted and reserve swims (where a reserve swimmer is given a swim) are due within 7 days of the gala taking place. Payment should be by cheque or cash and placed in the club mail box in an envelope clearly labelled with the swimmer’s name and the name of the competition. In accordance with the Club Constitution, entries from swimmers for whom outstanding fees from previous meets have not been paid will NOT be accepted until the debt is cleared.

The Committee therefore recommends that all outstanding fees from past galas should be settled immediately.
